Kyle McDonald graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May 2009 with a BA in Music Education. While at UNC, Kyle performed with the UNC Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band, Percussion ensemble 1, Jazz Lab 4 and Jazz Combo 4. While in high school, Kyle was accepted to the All-State Orchestra, All-State Concert Band, All-State Jazz band, as well as numerous other honor bands. Kyle has been teaching high school drumlines since sumer 2005 and private drum lessons since spring 2002. In the past few years, his students have been accepted into numerous Northern Colorado Honor Bands, as well as the All-State Concert Band. In his 4 years of teaching Drumlines, Kyle's ensembles have received most improved band award twice, 1st place drumline at regionals twice, and won the marching band 3A state championship. Kyle has studied with Gray Barrier, Jim White and Shilo Stroman. He teaches at the Childress high school and middle school.
